Things that Piss Me Off

There are many things that make me happy, but for some reason, today I want to focus on the things that make me unhappy. Perhaps it's the weather, a kind of blended gray that reminds me of Indiana winters, but I'm feeling like listing the things that piss me off. Feel free to add your own.

1. People who say 'no' when they don't have the power to say 'yes.'
2. The underwire in your bra that scrapes the back of your arm all day at work.
3. People who correct other people's writing, but their "corrections" are wrong. And you're the one with an editing background. They have a background in Home Ec.
4. People who are still talking as you're walking away.
5. Walking on muddy ground with heels that sink easily.
6. People with enthusiasm for something you could give two shits about, but make you pretend nonetheless. (However, this one could me, so sometimes I piss myself off).
7. People who manage to mispronounce a last name with four letters.
8. People at your work who manage to not only mispronounce but also misspell a name with only four letters when you've worked there for four years.
9. People who are always demanding immediate reaction from others, but do not give immediate reaction in return.
10. Having to ask three times for something and getting no response.
11. Having a spam to actual email ratio of 10 to 1.
12. People who talk about sex at work...loudly.
13. When someone says "I like your (insert hair, outfit, jewelry or other appearance-related item here) to you every time they see you. Sometimes you look like shit and you know it.
14. When people give excuses about why they can't do something before they even try.

I'm sure I'll come up with more later, but for now these are the most plaguing. It feels better just to get them out. Now I can look forward to a week of new '24,' 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Lost.'
